Lead Dev Sec Ops  Engineer £645 per day inside ir35 Remote 6 months (scope for extension) SC Clearance is required for this role Lead the security and automation strategy behind one of the UK's most significant Defence digital transformation programmes. We're looking for an experienced Lead Dev Sec Ops  Engineer to drive secure software delivery across a complex, multi-cloud environment supporting critical UK Defence capabilities.

This is a highly visible role where you'll shape Dev Sec Ops  standards, influence engineering teams, and ensure security is embedded throughout the entire software delivery lifecycle. What You'll Be Doing Leading Dev Sec Ops  practices across multiple digital products Designing and improving secure CI/CD and Git Ops pipelines Embedding security scanning, vulnerability management and compliance controls Driving Infrastructure as Code adoption and governance Implementing secrets management, IAM and policy enforcement Enhancing observability through monitoring, logging and audit capabilities Collaborating with developers, testers, infrastructure and security teams to deliver secure-by-design solutions Tech Stack Git Hub Actions Argo CD / Argo Rollouts Terraform Docker & Kubernetes (EKS) Hashi Corp Vault Trivy Grafana & Loki Python & Bash AWS, Azure & OCI What We're Looking For Proven experience leading Dev Sec Ops  teams and practices Strong hands-on background across cloud, automation and security tooling Experience delivering within UK Government or GDS environments Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills Ability to influence engineering standards across distributed teams If you are interested, please submit your CV.
