Combining hands‑on technical leadership with team management, the role is responsible for driving automation, delivering infrastructure projects, setting technical standards, and leading the strategic direction of a highly available Windows platform.

Responsibilities- Own and lead the global Windows & Microsoft infrastructure environment
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a distributed engineering team
- Drive automation and Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives across the estate
- Act as the senior escalation point for complex infrastructure issues
- Lead infrastructure improvement and modernisation projects
- Manage and optimise core Microsoft technologies including:
- Windows Server
- Microsoft 365
- Active Directory / Entra
- Intune
- Azure services
- Support hybrid cloud infrastructure environments across Azure and AWS
- Improve operational efficiency, platform reliability and security posture
- Work closely with technical operations and wider infrastructure teams globally
- Strong background in enterprise Windows infrastructure engineering
- Experience leading or mentoring technical engineering teams
- Advanced Power Shell scripting and automation experience
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tooling such as Terraform
- Strong understanding of:
- Microsoft 365
- Active Directory / Hybrid Identity
- Azure
- Intune
- Windows Server environments
- Experience operating within complex, global infrastructure environments
- Strong troubleshooting and escalation management capability
- West London (Hybrid 3x per week in the office)
- Up to £125,000 basic salary per annum
- Discretionary bonus
