Location: Greater London
We are seeking a Workday Solutions Architect with strong, hands‑on expertise across large scale implementation projects. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting major Workday programmes or operating within complex enterprise environments. They will shape the overall architectural approach, guide solution decisions, and ensure Workday is used effectively across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities Solution Architecture & Design- Lead end‑to‑end Workday solution architecture across core HCM, Absence, Compensation, Talent, Recruiting, and related modules.
- Translate business strategies and requirements into scalable, maintainable Workday designs.
- Define architectural standards, patterns, and guidelines for Workday configuration and usage.
- Assess cross‑module impacts, data dependencies, and system interactions to ensure solution integrity.
- Act as a Workday SME for HR, business stakeholders, and technology teams.
- Advise on configuration best practice, Workday capability, and roadmap considerations.
- Support business case development and solution evaluation.
- Maintain architectural artefacts, including diagrams and configuration documentation.
- Assess the impact of Workday releases and organisational changes.
- Promote simplification, standardisation, and optimisation across the Workday estate.
- Strong functional depth across multiple Workday modules.
- Experience in large‑scale implementations or complex multi‑module environments.
- Strong understanding of Workday’s data model, business processes, and architecture.
- Awareness of Workday integrations (Studio, EIB, Core Connectors) to support design decisions.
- Understanding of Workday security concepts and their impact on design.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills’
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job‑specific technical skills.
This role is based in Glasgow or London.
