Job overview

The Transformation and Deployment Systems Analyst is a key member of the Systems and Development team, responsible for supporting the delivery of transformation projects and ensuring services realise the maximum benefits from systems.

The role includes organising workshops, process mapping, providing deployment support, producing training resources, and coordinating the delivery of new system functionality to Trust users.

Main duties of the job
  • Support the team in the successful delivery of specific transformation projects, including understanding requirements, process analysis and improvement.
Key areas of focus
  • Document user/service requirements in a business-friendly format.
  • Document business processes using standard industry methodology such as process flow and user journey maps.
  • Use a RACI approach to manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Develop project and service transformation activities including benefits tracking, SOPs, training programmes and materials.
  • Engage clinicians and administrative staff in defining system configuration and reporting to meet service needs and clinical pathways.
  • Represent clinical systems projects at steering groups.
  • Coordinate post-implementation reviews and lessons learned.
  • Plan, coordinate and manage clinical systems projects.
Person specification Education / Qualification / Training
  • Experience supporting change across departments in a health or social care organisation or equivalent.
  • Recognised qualifications relevant to the role.
Experience
  • Good knowledge of EPRs such as RiO, Systm One, EMIS, including functionality and modules.
  • Adaptability to different projects within a changing environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a challenging, resource-lean environment.
  • Contribution to the preparation of information for project reports.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and related applications (VISIO, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, Co-Pilot).
