Senior Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer

Location: UK-Based | Hybrid Working (3 Days in Office per Week)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a data professional who combines strong technical expertise with exceptional stakeholder management skills and a passion for turning complex data into meaningful business insights.

As a senior member of the analytics function, you will lead the development of data visualisations, reporting frameworks, and analytics solutions that drive strategic decision‑making across the business.

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of interactive dashboards and data visualisations using Power BI, Excel, SQL, Tableau, and/or Power Automate

• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to gather requirements and translate complex business challenges into scalable analytics and reporting solutions.
• Take ownership of data quality processes, including data cleansing, transformation, validation, and the development of reliable reporting models.
• Define and implement best practices for data modelling, reporting standards, and visualisation design.
• Present insights, trends, and actionable recommendations to senior leadership and cross‑functional teams in a clear and compelling manner.
• Partner with engineering, product, and operational teams to automate data processes, optimise reporting infrastructure, and enhance existing analytics frameworks.
• Act as a technical leader within the team, promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, continuous improvement, and analytical excellence.
• Support and mentor team members while contributing as a hands‑on analytics specialist.

• Experience in Data Analytics, Analytics Engineering, Power BI Development, or a closely related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and Excel
  , with experience creating high‑quality dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Experience using Tableau and/or Power Automate

• Proven track record of gathering requirements, managing stakeholders, and translating business needs into analytical solutions.
• Strong expertise in data transformation, cleansing, modelling, and preparing datasets for scalable reporting and analytics.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Experience developing user‑focused, visually engaging dashboards and data products.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Power BI and/or Microsoft Azure certifications

• Experience using Python for analytics or automation.
• Previous experience in a Business Analyst capacity.

• Must be based in the UK and able to commute to the office three days per week

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Passion for data, analytics, and delivering measurable business value through insights.
