We are working with a Higher Education looking to bring a Senior Service Designer to their growing team

Our client, a Higher Education brand is experiencing exciting growth and expansion! Every year, they attract thousands of new students and venture into new markets and verticals worldwide.

To support this growth, the Product & Technology team is working hard to transform their platforms, digital products, and experiences. Their goal is to ensure the client’s education can scale effectively and meet the increasing demands of the business in the years to come.

They are looking for a Senior Service Designer who will work across their Product Squads to deliver experiences that delight and engage learners during their time studying with the client and beyond, throughout their working lives.

As a Senior Service Designer, you’ll report to the Head of Service Design and work with various Product Squads. You’ll be an integral part of the client’s Product & Technology team, collaborating closely with Engineering, Product Management, and Data functions.

The mission is to transform Education into a user-centered and data-informed experience. By understanding their users’ needs, you’ll help design and build products that not only meet but exceed their expectations.

Key responsibilities but not limited to:

• Help ensure Product Squad objectives are met
• Help integrate product experience principles in all digital products
• Help develop and improve frameworks for Squads to integrate user insights
  
  Advocate for hypotheses driven development
• Ensure that product Squad activities always have the customer at their heart
• Promote an iterative, evidence-based approach to design

About you:
They are seeking someone who is in love with design, you’ll understand aesthetic and are passionate about a great user experience.

• Proven track record of success as a UX &/or Service designer with experience of integrating actionable user insights into product delivery roadmaps
• Substantial experience in digital product design – ideally across web, mobile apps and enterprise software.
• Expertise in two or more of the following, excellent knowledge of the rest:
  Service Design
  , UX Design
  , Mental Models Design, Design Thinking and problem framing methodologies
• Proven application of user-centred design approaches to address complex UX and service design problems
• Thorough grounding in the use and collation of data from user feedback, analytics, usability and survey tools
• Effective communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
• Experience in the Education Sector is desirable
