Senior Technical Sales Engineer

I'm hiring for a Senior Technical Engineer – Applied ML / HPC on behalf of a client, a deep-tech company commercializing quantum‑enhanced computing for AI and optimization workloads, already live with customers running real hybrid quantum‑classical systems in production settings.

This is a high‑impact, customer‑facing technical role, not a back‑office solutions job. You'd own the technical side of the sales motion end‑to‑end: building demos, writing architectures and technical blueprints, running proof‑of‑concept engagements, and being the credible technical voice in the room that moves deals through the funnel.

• High autonomy, you shape how technical opportunities get qualified and won, not just execute a script
• Direct exposure to HPC, ML/optimization, and enterprise customers across chemistry, pharma, energy, finance, and defense
• Genuine career runway: as the team scales, there's a real path to owning a region (US/EU/Asia) or growing into a self‑funding, more commercial track
• Small motivated team, high visibility, your work directly shapes product roadmap and go‑to‑market

• Pre‑sales experience in deep‑tech or high‑tech, comfortable owning targeted, technical conversations with customers, not just supporting a rep
• Hands‑on technical credibility: able to build and run demos and PoCs yourself, set up environments, and speak fluently about distributed/industrial computing
• Background in HPC, ML, or optimization environments, Python proficiency expected, but this isn't a heads‑down engineering role
• Experience training or optimizing ML systems.
