Senior Product Manager - Sustainable Data Platform

Role Summary

Senior Product Manager to own the end‑to‑end product lifecycle for Sustainable Investment (SI) data platforms – from onboarding new data sources through to migration, delivery, and ongoing optimisation. This delivery‑focused product role involves defining the roadmap, working closely with engineering and operations, and ensuring high‑quality, reliable data products that meet client and regulatory expectations.

• Communicate with diverse audiences, ranging from highly technical partners to business clients.
• Apply excellent attention to detail and logical thinking to solve business problems.
• Establish credibility and build strong, collaborative relationships with business, technology, and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Stay abreast of technology trends, assess their impact on the roadmap, and drive innovation.
• Define and own the product roadmap for SI data gathering, management, and distribution platforms.
• Own onboarding and lifecycle of data sources from discovery and evaluation to production readiness.
• Lead migration of datasets and workflows from legacy systems to strategic data platforms.
• Partner with engineering, operations, and commercial product teams to deliver scalable, reliable data capabilities.
• Drive data quality, coverage, and timeliness, ensuring products meet client and regulatory requirements.

• 10+ years of relevant work experience in data product ownership, technology, business analysis, operations, or application delivery within the banking or financial domain.
• Exposure to commercial product and operations teams in the financial industry, ideally linked to Indexing or Funds.
• Experience with Sustainable data vendors and products (e.g., ESG indicators, climate, carbon emissions, green revenues).
• Proven ability to take new data sources from discovery to production, including source evaluation, data mapping, ingestion patterns, validation rules, change management, and operational handover.
• Experience leading migration of datasets from legacy systems to target data platforms (cloud, data lake/warehouse), including data mapping, transformation design, reconciliation, parallel‑run strategies, and cutover planning to ensure data integrity and minimal disruption.
• Familiarity with data management and artificial intelligence applications in a business context.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

• Experience with Sustainable Investment / ESG data.
• Exposure to index, market data, or financial data products.
• Familiarity with data platforms (cloud, lakehouse, or warehouse) in a product context.
