Infrastructure Engineers wanted to work across a predominantly Azure-based environment with some on‑premise systems. The role is hands‑on and focuses on supporting, improving, and modernising infrastructure across multiple offices and cloud platforms, with an emphasis on automation, AI potential, and forward‑thinking solutions.

Key responsibilities include maintaining secure, reliable, and high‑performing infrastructure across compute, storage, networking, and cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS). The engineer will design standardised templates to enable self‑service cloud use, automate repetitive tasks, and ensure best practices in areas like identity management, patching, and disaster recovery.

The role also involves participating in a 24/7 on‑call rota (1 week in every 10), managing incidents through to resolution, performing root cause analysis, and acting as a second‑line escalation point. Collaboration is important, including working with internal teams, vendors, and the Security Operations Centre on threat detection and response.

Technical Overview
  • Proven experience managing infrastructure within a Dev Ops environment, including the use of Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC), automation, and enterprise monitoring/reporting tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Zabbix, and Azure Monitor.
  • Proven experience with Cisco, Meraki & Palo Alto.
  • Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure, along with at least one other cloud platform (AWS or Google Cloud).
  • Solid understanding of IP‑based networking, including WAN technologies, virtualisation, cloud platforms, DHCP/DNS, Microsoft 365, and SAN/NAS storage solutions.
  • Experience with modern event and log management systems, alerting frameworks, and workflow automation tools such as Power Automate, Azure Log Analytics, and Azure Monitor.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of infrastructure issues, coordinating cross‑functional teams to deliver effective and sustainable solutions aligned with business needs.
Package

Generous Bonus Scheme, 14% Pension, Flexible hours, Training Fund, Life Assurance, Private Medical Insurance, Volunteering, Electric Car Scheme.

Working in a hybrid model, the team works on‑site two days a week in the modern Central London hub, facilitating collaboration.
