Job Description & How to Apply Below
Location: Greater London

We are seeking three experienced Network Campus Engineers to join a major network refresh and refurbishment programme across a 30-floor London head office campus. The site supports a live trading floor and other business-critical operations, requiring meticulous planning, delivery and execution within a highly regulated enterprise environment.

This is a project delivery role focused on designing, implementing and deploying campus network infrastructure—not operational support or BAU network maintenance. Successful candidates will have a proven track record of delivering complex network projects from planning through to implementation, including coordinating engineers and contractors, installing infrastructure, and executing large-scale migration activities.

Working alongside construction, cabling, audio‑visual, physical security and end‑user testing teams, you will play a key role in delivering network infrastructure to support the refurbishment programme while adhering to strict governance and change control processes.

Indicative Work Split
  • Network Implementation & Deployment – 60%
  • Network Design (templated and repeatable) – 20%
  • Project Coordination, Validation & Planning – 20%
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver end-to-end implementation of campus network infrastructure as part of a large-scale refurbishment programme.
  • Plan, prepare and execute network migration activities across multiple phases of the programme.
  • Deploy, configure and commission Cisco network infrastructure, including switching and wireless technologies.
  • Relocate and commission main equipment rooms throughout the campus.
  • Refresh network infrastructure as office floors are decommissioned, refurbished and returned to service.
  • Migrate services through temporary and permanent core/distribution network architectures.
  • Install, configure and refresh network hardware, including physically delivering equipment to site and coordinating installation activities.
  • Lead and direct junior engineers and third‑party contractors during implementation and migration activities.
  • Deliver wireless infrastructure refreshes across multiple generations of Cisco Wi‑Fi technology while maintaining user connectivity throughout construction and transition phases.
  • Ensure security principles are incorporated into network designs from the outset.
  • Validate completed network deployments in collaboration with cabling, AV, physical security and end‑user testing teams.
  • Support project managers by providing technical guidance on implementation sequencing, dependencies and delivery risks.
  • Produce, review and implement repeatable network designs and deployment standards.
Technical Requirements
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Cisco Catalyst switching platforms including:
  • Catalyst 6500
  • Catalyst 4500
  • Catalyst 9410
  • Experience deploying Cisco Wireless Access Points across multiple hardware generations, including:
  • 3800 Series
  • 9130 Series
  • Hands‑on experience with Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers:
  • 5508
  • 5520
  • 9800 Series
  • Experience using Cisco Catalyst Centre and Cisco Prime Infrastructure.
  • Strong campus wireless networking expertise with an excellent understanding of enterprise Wi‑Fi design and deployment.
  • Recent experience delivering network refresh or migration projects within live enterprise campus environments.
  • Experience deploying enterprise or data centre‑grade network hardware.
  • Strong Layer 3 networking knowledge with extensive experience of BGP routing within campus environments.
  • Experience delivering network implementations within regulated enterprise organisations operating under formal change management processes.
  • General understanding of firewall technologies within campus networks.
  • Basic multicast configuration for services such as digital signage and office displays.
  • Voice VLAN configuration and switch port provisioning.
  • Exposure to large‑scale campus transformation or office refurbishment programmes.
