Data Science Consultants
London & Manchester | Hybrid

Datatech Analytics is partnering with a global consultancy growing its Digital & Data capability across advanced analytics, AI and decision science.

The work focuses on solving complex operational and commercial challenges through applied data science, modelling and analytics across sectors including Financial Services, Defence, Government, Energy and Healthcare.

This is not purely research‑led data science. The focus is practical delivery, building solutions that influence real decisions, operations and outcomes.

The role

Working across the full analytics lifecycle, from problem definition and modelling through to deployment and stakeholder engagement.

Projects may include
  • Machine learning and predictive analytics
  • Optimisation, simulation and Operational Research
  • Geospatial and spatial analytics
  • Translating business challenges into analytical solutions
  • Building scalable models and decision‑support tools
  • Presenting insights to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Collaborating with engineering, analytics and consulting teams
Environment
  • Python, SQL, R
  • Machine learning and statistical modelling
  • Databricks, Spark and cloud platforms
  • Modern AI and analytics tooling
We're looking for
  • Experience with in data science, analytics or modelling environments
  • Strong quantitative and problem‑solving capability
  • Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts clearly
  • Consulting or client‑facing experience beneficial
  • Backgrounds in Operational Research, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Statistics or Geospatial Analytics particularly relevant

Degree, MSc or PhD level education in a quantitative discipline is typically expected.
