As the first dedicated Senior Platform Engineer, you will own the infrastructure behind Stack One’s AI Integration Gateway. Reporting to the CTO, you'll lead the migration from AWS CDK to Terraform, optimize CI/CD pipelines for a growing monorepo, and architect the delivery of the platform into customers' own cloud environments via BYOC models.

• Complex Engineering:
  Work on cutting‑edge "Bring Your Own Cloud" (BYOC) architecture, delivering SaaS infrastructure directly into major enterprise cloud accounts like AWS, GCP, and Azure.

• Lead the transition of the entire AWS estate from AWS CDK to Terraform while maintaining high reliability for production workloads like ECS Fargate and Aurora.
• Architect and automate the deployment pipeline, consolidating toward a monorepo with incremental, affected‑only testing to ensure rapid developer feedback loops.
• Build the versioning, packaging, and delivery systems required to ship Stack One’s platform into customer‑managed cloud environments with full observability and security.

• Has 4+ years of experience in platform engineering or SRE, with deep expertise in AWS services including ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, and Lambda.
• Demonstrates high proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CDK) and programming in Type Script or Python to build developer tools rather than just configuration.
• Possesses a security‑first mindset with experience securing CI/CD pipelines and ideally shipping software into customer‑managed cloud or on‑prem environments.
