Network Infrastructure Engineer

Salary

Salary: £75,000 - 75,000 per year

• Experience with Cisco Meraki and/or similar enterprise networking platforms
• Knowledge of cloud networking technologies, particularly within Azure and/or AWS
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls
• Strong experience working within enterprise networking environments
• A degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, IT Infrastructure, or a similar field would be beneficial
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, and switching
• Experience managing firewalls, VPNs, WAN technologies, VLANs, and Layer 2/3 networking
• Experience troubleshooting network issues within complex enterprise environments
• Understanding of network security best practices
• Familiarity with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, or network automation/scripting would be beneficial
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative technical team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Support and improve our enterprise LAN, WAN, wireless, and firewall infrastructure
• Manage our cloud networking environments across Azure and other cloud platforms
• Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, routing, and switching technologies
• Support multi-site network connectivity and migration projects
• Drive automation and infrastructure standardisation initiatives
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventative solutions
• Collaborate with our security and infrastructure teams to maintain robust security controls
• Participate in infrastructure projects and provide technical expertise to stakeholders

We are a highly respected professional services organisation undergoing significant technology transformation across our infrastructure and cloud environments. With continued investment in modernisation, automation, and security, we are expanding our infrastructure team and looking for a hands‑on Network Infrastructure Engineer to help support resilient, secure, and scalable network solutions across our multi‑site environment. The role is based in London on a hybrid basis with 2 days in the office, offered on a permanent contract, with a salary of £65,000 to £75,000 plus bonus and benefits including private medical cover, pension, hybrid working, training and development, and wellbeing benefits.
