Infrastructure Support Engineer; Projects

Salary: £30,000 - 40,000 per year

• Experience with in a 2nd Line IT Support position.
• Good all-round knowledge of IT infrastructure.
• Exposure to Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
• Basic networking knowledge, including switches, routers, TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• A genuine desire to develop your career.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Exposure to Azure, networking, firewalls, virtualisation, CCTV, Ubiquiti or cloud technologies would be advantageous, but is not essential.

• Support the delivery of infrastructure and networking projects.
• Assist with the installation and configuration of switches, routers, firewalls and wireless networks.
• Support cloud migrations and client onboarding projects.
• Assist with data migration and implementation projects.
• Provide 2nd Line technical support to business clients.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Windows and network-related issues.
• Work alongside senior engineers on client deployments.
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide excellent technical support.
• Learn new technologies and develop your infrastructure knowledge.

We are a growing technology consultancy based in Colchester, offering a salary of £30,000 to £40,000 depending on experience.
