Overview

Join us as an Analytics Lead. In this crucial role, you ll define and deliver the data and analytics strategy that powers how we detect, prevent, and respond to fraud and financial crime king across the Hub and wider bank, you ll play a key role in shaping how we use data to become faster, smarter, and more effective in combating economic crime.

This is an opportunity to lead a critical function within the Economic Crime Hub, turning data into intelligent decisions that protect our customers and the bank.

Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the Data, Analytics & Assurance (DAA) strategy aligned to Economic Crime Hub priorities.
  • Drive measurable impact, reducing fraud and financial crime risk through data-led decisioning.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team across analytics, insight, and decision science.
  • Build modern analytics capabilities, leveraging data, AI, and automation to scale decisioning.
  • Deliver decision-grade analytics from concept to live deployment.
  • Act as a senior advisor to stakeholders, shaping how data is used to improve customer and business outcomes.
  • Lead innovation in how data and analytics are used across the Hub, including AI-led decisioning.
Skills and Experience
  • Deep technical and domain expertise in Fraud and Financial Crime, combined with strong leadership and delivery capability.
  • Experience leading teams to build and deploy production-grade analytics and decisioning solutions.
  • Track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Experience embedding analytics into business processes, operating models, and decision frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of data management, governance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to translate strategy into execution, align analytics delivery with business priorities, and manage stakeholders at senior and executive levels.
  • High levels of drive, ownership, and resilience; ability to operate at pace in a complex environment.
