We're currently seeking an experienced SMTP Messaging Infrastructure Consultant to undertake a specialist assessment of a large-scale enterprise email environment.

This is a short-term consultancy engagement focused on reviewing an organisation's SMTP backbone infrastructure from an outside-in perspective, assessing its alignment with industry best practices, security standards, resilience requirements, and operational effectiveness.

The successful consultant will provide expert recommendations for improving the existing email architecture, identifying risks, gaps, and opportunities for optimisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess enterprise SMTP and email messaging infrastructure.
• Review email routing, relay services, gateways, and mail flow architecture.
• Evaluate existing configurations against industry standards and best practices.
• Review email security, hygiene, resilience, and operational effectiveness.
• Identify risks, vulnerabilities, and areas for improvement.
