Telecommunication Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Telecommunication Engineer with hands‑on experience in Mikro Tik, Cisco, and Juniper networking equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network infrastructures for both residential and business clients. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Design, configure, and maintain network systems using Mikro Tik, Cisco, and Juniper routers and switches.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
• Implement and manage routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, RIP) and VLAN configurations.
• Perform firmware upgrades, security patches, and system backups.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support customer installations and service delivery.
• Document network configurations, changes, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
• Provide technical support and training to junior engineers or clients as needed.

• Proven experience with Mikro Tik RouterOS, Cisco IOS, and Juniper Junos.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPNs, and firewall configurations.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, PRTG, Solar Winds).
• Ability to interpret network diagrams and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP
  , JNCIA/JNCIP
  , or MTCNA/MTCRE are highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• Working in ISP or enterprise network environments.
• Experience with fiber optic technologies and wireless networking.
• Knowledge of OFNL, City Fibre, or similar infrastructure providers.
