Director of Innovation

Our client, a rapidly growing organisation, urgently require an experienced Director of Innovation and Systems Architecture to join their team on a permanent basis.

In order to be successful, you will have the following experience:

Strong background within Enterprise or Technical Architect
Proven track record of winning £multi-million contracts (supporting Bids and Pre Sales), within Defence & Government sectors
Background gained within a consultancy organisation
SC Cleared as a minimum, must be happy to obtain DV Clearance

Within this role, you will be responsible for:

Responsible for translating technology opportunities into solutions for clients
Lead early lifecycle/pre-sales engagements, architecting the high level technical strategies that win bids
Lead the technical architecture for major tenders
Partner with the sales team to identify win strategy
Own technical narratives of bids, from executive summary to deep dive methodology chapters
Oversee the creation of proof of concepts or technical demos
Work with package teams to package technical research and custom hardware/software developments into repeatable service offerings
Prioritise innovation, establishing scalable pipelines that successfully bridge the gap between experimental engineering and delivered programs
