Job DescriptionManaging IT infrastructure projects for a global insurance business. End-to-end ownership from vision to benefits realization, with ability to pick up projects mid-flight.
Key Responsibilities- Lead medium-to-large projects/work streams, defining scope and success criteria
- Build business cases with sponsors (outcomes, benefits, measures)
- Manage budget, risks, issues, and resources (including vendors)
- Ensure delivery covers not just tech, but business change, training, and service integration
- Close projects and capture lessons learned for continuous improvement
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall, plus tools like Jira
- Managing multiple concurrent projects
- Strong governance, risk, and budget control
- Excellent stakeholder influence and communication (adapting between detail and high-level)
- Resilience in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- PRINCE2/PMP or APM/PMI certification
- Change Management qualification (APMG)
- Degree-level education
- Insurance or Finance industry experience
