Application Engineer | Wealth Management | London | Hybrid (50% Office)

We're looking for an Application Engineer to take ownership of a portfolio of enterprise applications, ensuring they remain secure, stable, available and continuously improving. What you'll be doing

Supporting business-critical enterprise applications in a live production environment
Managing incidents, problems and changes in line with ITIL best practice
Performing root cause analysis and driving service improvement initiatives
Monitoring application performance, availability and operational health
Supporting releases, deployments and production change activities
Working closely with business stakeholders, product teams and third-party vendors
Automating manual processes and enhancing operational efficiency
Contributing to operational resilience, disaster recovery and service continuity initiatives

What we're looking for

Strong experience supporting enterprise applications in production
Solid understanding of Incident, Problem and Change Management
ITIL-based service management experience
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills

Experience with monitoring and alerting platforms
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong stakeholder communication skills

Desirable

Experience with in wealth management, investment management, private banking or financial services
Knowledge of Service Now
SQL and scripting/automation experience
Experience working with third-party vendors and managed service providers
Understanding of operational resilience and security controls
