IT Data & Reporting Analyst

Salary up to £45,000 + Fantastic bonus and package

Talentedge Tech are working with a well-known, fast-growing consumer brand that’s investing heavily in technology and data. They’re looking for an IT Data & Reporting Analyst to take ownership of reporting and dashboards, helping the business make smarter decisions every single day.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys getting under the skin of data, solving problems, and working closely with stakeholders across the business.

What you’ll be doing:

• Designing, building and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports that drive business decisions
• Writing SQL (needed) and ideally Python (desirable) to extract, manipulate and analyse data
• Investigating data issues end-to-end, following the journey from source systems through the data warehouse to reporting
• Gathering reporting requirements from stakeholders and turning them into practical solutions
• Supporting forecasting and predictive analytics initiatives
• Working alongside IT teams and external data partners to continuously improve reporting capability

What we’re looking for:

• Experience building reports and dashboards in Power BI (or similar, but Power BI used here)
• An understanding of data warehousing and reporting architecture would be an advantage
• A naturally curious, analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
• Someone who enjoys working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Someone who is commercially aware, we’re looking for someone that likes to understand "why" they are doing something.

Nice to have:

• Microsoft Fabric exposure (or a desire to learn)
• Python and/or Spark
• A desire to learn, understand and implement Data modelling, Data Architecture & ETL
• Experience with in retail, hospitality or a fast-paced consumer environment would be a big plus.
