On behalf of one of our key partners, RED has a new opportunity for a Junior Snowflake Engineer to start ASAP on a B2B 12 months contract, on‑site project, English writing and speaking.

Qualifications

5 years experience with Snowflake
5 years of experience as Data Engineer
To start ASAP
On‑site 5 days/week in Basildon, Essex
12 months B2B Contract
English writing and Speaker.
Inside IR35

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and consolidation.
Perform data mapping from source systems to Snowflake target models.
Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models across staging, integration, and data mart layers.
Build, test, and maintain dbt models following engineering best practices.
Optimize Snowflake performance through efficient query design, materializations, and clustering strategies.
Ensure data quality, consistency, lineage, and documentation standards are maintained.
Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and platform teams to establish and align data architecture patterns and standards.
