Principal, Ads Strategy and Partnerships, EMEA , Amazon Ads Strategy and Partnerships

Job :  | Amazon UK Services Ltd.

The Ads Strategy and Partnerships team is responsible for building and executing high-impact strategic partnerships that accelerate Amazon Ads' market positioning across UK, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This individual will own the end-to-end partnership lifecycle across major ad platforms, agency holding companies, technical system integrators, and marketing technology providers — from initial opportunity identification through deal structuring and scaled execution across a complex, multi-market region.

The role requires establishing deep, consultative relationships with product and sales leaders across Amazon Ads while simultaneously serving as the primary strategic interface with external partners operating in the EMEA landscape. You will develop joint go-to-market strategies tailored to the region's distinct regulatory environments, media ecosystems, and advertiser maturity curves. You will architect innovative commercial structures and drive inorganic growth by unlocking new sources of demand and supply that complement Amazon's core advertising business across established countries, as well as high-growth ones.

A central focus is developing unique partnership constructs that address the most consequential challenges facing digital advertising in EMEA today. This includes constructing identity solutions for targeting and measurement within increasingly stringent privacy frameworks, introducing differentiated pricing models that reflect Amazon's unique value proposition across diverse currencies and market dynamics, and exploring novel data utilization strategies that maximize competitive strengths across Amazon's first-party signals, retail insights, and audience intelligence — all while navigating GDPR, the Digital Markets Act, and evolving national data regulations.

You will work directly with partners to align on media investment strategies, negotiate preferential access to Amazon's ad solutions, and drive enterprise-wide adoption of Amazon's Demand-Side Platform (Amazon DSP), retail media network, and measurement capabilities across the region. You will also establish strategic alliances with partners to build scalable, integrated advertising technology solutions that embed Amazon Ads within broader enterprise digital transformation programs — meeting partners where they are in terms of regional capability and market readiness.

Additionally, the role demands a forward-looking posture toward the advertising landscape. You will proactively engage with emerging technology players to assess new trends, forge high-value collaborations, and structure creative commercial agreements that extend and enhance the overall advertising ecosystem. By staying ahead of market shifts — including the rise of data clean rooms, identity resolution challenges, AI-driven media buying, and the region's accelerating shift toward privacy-first advertising — you will enable Amazon Ads to shape industry best practices, disrupt legacy models, and accelerate deal velocity at scale across EMEA.

The ideal candidate is an experienced business development or partnerships executive who combines strategic vision with deal-making rigor, and who brings firsthand experience operating across EMEA. You are comfortable operating at the intersection of technology, enterprise sales, and platform strategy. You bring deep fluency in the EMEA ad space, a track record of structuring complex multi-party agreements across borders, and the ability to translate regional dynamics — from regulatory headwinds to emerging media consumption patterns — into actionable partnership frameworks that deliver measurable business impact.
