Infrastructure Engineer

You must be SC Cleared to be suitable for this role.

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Windows Engineer to join one of our customers within the Finance sector. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing our enterprise Microsoft Windows infrastructure, ensuring the delivery of secure, reliable, and high-performing services. Working as part of a collaborative infrastructure team, you will contribute to business-critical projects, support day-to-day operations, and help drive continuous improvement across the IT environment.

For this role you must be required to commit to being onsite 2-3 days per week in central london.

• Manage, maintain, and support enterprise Microsoft Windows Server environments to ensure secure and reliable services.
• Build, configure, deploy, and decommission physical and virtual servers as required.
• Administer core Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Perform server patching, upgrades, security hardening, and vulnerability remediation in line with best practice.
• Support VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V virtualisation platforms and contribute to infrastructure resilience.
• Develop and maintain Power Shell scripts to automate routine administration and improve operational efficiency.
