Position: Network Engineering Specialist (IP management team)
Location: Greater London

Network Engineering Specialist (IP management team) – London, UK (on‑site)

Due to the sensitive nature of this role, a DV (Developed Vetting) level security clearance is required. Candidates must have lived in the UK for at least 10 years and are eligible for a £5,000 per annum allowance while maintaining clearance.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, test, validate, maintain, and support all network infrastructure components.

Implement new and enhanced network technology aligned with customer strategy for enterprise and remote site connectivity.

Maintain global network infrastructure standards, including wireless, LAN, and SD‑WAN networks.

Install, test, and set up new network hardware (physical and virtual) such as firewalls, routers, switches, and monitoring tools.

Execute engineering actions to ensure the currency and supportability of networking technology.

Essential Skills & Experience

Experience with enterprise routing design using OSPF, IS‑IS, BGP, LDP, or RSVP.
Proficiency in LAN switching for small to medium data centre and enterprise environments, including RSTP/MSTP, LAG, MC‑LAG, SPB, and first‑hop resilience and security protocols.
Knowledge of network security implementation – MACSEC, IPSEC, 802.1x.
Experience in firewall, IDS, and IPS design, management, and configuration.

Desirable Skills & Experience

Business acumen and contribution to engineering strategy formulation.
Ability to apply technical, financial, and quality principles to complex projects.
Skill in building relationships with senior customers.
