Linux Platform Engineer (Open Shift) – London £50,000-£58,000 base + on-call + share options | London | Hybrid (2 days per week onsite)
We are partnering with a high-growth SaaS business that is hiring a Linux Platform Engineer to join a growing platform team responsible for building and evolving modern Linux and container-based platform services.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to move beyond traditional BAU administration and into platform engineering, automation, and cloud-native infrastructure. The team is creating self-service platform capabilities that enable engineering teams to deploy, manage, and operate workloads more effectively across a modern container platform environment.
The wider organisation already operates at significant scale, and this team forms part of a broader infrastructure transformation focused on Linux, Open Shift, Kubernetes, automation, and private cloud modernisation. The engineering function is also actively adopting AI-assisted delivery practices, with engineers increasingly leveraging modern tooling to improve productivity, accelerate delivery, and reduce repetitive manual work.
The business is looking for someone with strong Linux platform engineering experience, a passion for automation, and an interest in helping shape a growing platform capability that supports critical software services across the organisation.
