Business Analyst - Privileged Access Management (PAM)

6 month contract | £650 per day inside IR35
Our client, a leading global investment bank, is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a major Privileged Access Management (PAM) transformation programme. This role will play a key part in strengthening privileged access controls, governance and regulatory compliance across a complex enterprise environment.
Working closely with Cyber Security, Technology and business stakeholders, you will gather and document requirements, analyse privileged access processes, support solution design and help deliver enterprise PAM capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Gather, analyse and document business, functional and non-functional requirements.
- Produce Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications and process documentation.
- Work with business and technical stakeholders to define privileged access requirements and target operating models.
- Analyse current privileged access processes and identify opportunities for improved governance and control.
- Support framework development, process design and implementation activities.
- Produce test strategies, test plans and test cases, supporting SIT and UAT.
- Present proposed solutions, project updates and findings to business and technology stakeholders.
- Produce project status reports, identify risks and escalated issues where appropriate.
- Support Project Managers and technical teams throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Perform SQL analysis and utilise Excel to support data analysis and reporting where required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across Cyber Security and Identity programmes.
- Proven Privileged Access Management (PAM) experience is essential.
- Strong Business Analysis experience delivering Cyber Security or Identity-related projects.
- Experience developing and implementing governance frameworks, processes and controls.
- Strong understanding of regulatory and industry frameworks including EBA ICT, FFIEC, NIST, COBIT and FCA guidance.
- Experience delivering Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions within Financial Services.
- Experience defining, assessing and governing identity and access management processes, procedures and controls.
- Experience delivering IAM capabilities to meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Strong knowledge of Identity Governance and Segregation of Duties (SoD).
- Detailed understanding of privileged access management and access controls within large, complex enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of security assurance principles and the application of recognised security frameworks.
- Ability to manage multiple work streams across complex change portfolios.
- Experience delivering business analysis and solution design across broader Cyber Security initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and documentation skills.
