Are you an experienced SAP Finance professional looking to work on a high-profile, secure programme where your expertise has a real impact? Capgemini is seeking an SAP S/4

HANA Finance (FI/CO) Application Support Consultant to join our growing Application Development & Maintenance (ADM) team, supporting mission-critical SAP services within a secure Defence environment.
As part of Capgemini's ADM practice, you will work alongside a highly skilled team responsible for keeping complex SAP landscapes running smoothly, delivering operational excellence, continuous improvement, and trusted support to our clients. This role offers the opportunity to combine deep functional expertise with stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and process optimisation in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Providing functional support across SAP S/4

HANA Finance, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting, and Controlling (CO)

• Managing incidents, service requests, problems, and changes in line with ITIL best practices
• Supporting financial close activities, reconciliations, and period-end processing
• Investigating and resolving complex business and system issues
• Working closely with technical and functional teams to ensure seamless integration with related SAP modules, particularly MM and PS
• Supporting audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements within a highly governed environment
• Identifying opportunities for process optimisation, automation, and service improvement

• Strong functional expertise in SAP S/4
  
  HANA Finance (FI/CO)
• Experience supporting period-end and financial close processes
• Understanding of integration points with Materials Management (MM) and Project Systems (PS)
• Experience working within an Application Management Services (AMS) or support environment
• Knowledge of ITIL-aligned service delivery
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills
