JS Developer to join our high profile client.

Our client is a $2 billion strong quant hedge fund with performance figures of 22%. They are currently looking to expand their high and intraday trading presence across FX and commodities.

The environment is that of Facebook or Google, relaxed open with time to think and make the right decisions. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed with an open dress code. This is a role for those who are motivated by the sharp end of technology and the possibility of making serious money doing something you are passionate about.

The Execution Technology team build the platform, tools and algorithms that enable investment models. This includes the continued evolution and expansion of the firms bespoke multi-asset Execution Management System and in-house algorithmic execution capability.

As a Senior Web Applications Developer you’ll be a key part of the team working to build our next-gen trading platform. This includes building real-time UI to visualise and monitor large-scale systematic order execution, building custom workflows for OTC products, building UI to control order routing and algo wheels. You’ll be joining a collaborative team working alongside server-side developers and trading teams to deliver important projects.

React.

JS Developers must have:
JavaScript or Typescript expert. Ideally you have used Typescript on previous projects.

ReactJS Expert. You know how to use it and how it works.

Experience working on real-time, data-centric applications such as those found in Finance or Data visualisation.

You have practical knowledge of web tooling such as Webpack, Storybook, NPM and Yarn.

Highly proficient with Chrome dev tools

Well versed in core user-interface technologies – Java script, HTML5 and CSS3A self-starter with a ‘gets things done’ attitude capable of taking projects from inception to completion.

At least a bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative field.

Java, Aeron messaging/ Aeron Cluster to build our high performance, fault-tolerant systems.

Infrastructure: Git Hub, Docker, Hashicorp stack to automate deployment and networking.

My client is based in London 3 days per week in the office.
