On a day to Day basis the Support Specialist will:
· Provide technical and elements of functional support to the business users for all applications
· Root cause analysis, document and implement solution
· Change Management
· Provide design input for new projects covering possible reuse, application cooperation and deployment models
· Review implementation and deployment designs
· Release Management
· Install and configure applications
· Configuration Management
· Ensure application servers operate within acceptable parameters through monitoring tools
Application Support Engineers MUST have:
Degree in a STEM subject ideally computing based.
Some commercial experienceSQLIdeally some exposure to application support
