The opportunity and What we Look forEY is experiencing an increasing demand for its Health consulting expertise. We are seeking to expand our team of skilled and experienced Directors who are already delivering impact and value for our health clients across the UK or Ireland.
We are currently looking for a highly skilled and experienced Digital Health Director to join our growing Digital Health Practice. This role is pivotal in driving the continued growth of our practice by leading high-impact projects with our public and private health clients across the UK. The successful candidate will work directly with clients to understand their business needs, lead the design of digitally enabled health and care services, and implement solutions that improve patient outcomes and care delivery processes.

Your Responsibilities Strategic & Client Leadership Lead strategic relationships with Health Board-level and senior executives across Providers, ICSs, regional and national health organisations.
Act as a trusted adviser on the pursuit, design, and end-to-end delivery of large scale, high-impact digital health projects and programmes.
Oversee multiple complex technology programmes using AI and data, ensuring delivery excellence, commercial performance, risk management, and high-impact outcomes.
Practice Leadership & Sector Growth Drive market strategy, proposition development, and thought leadership for the Health practice embedding Digital and Technology into everything we do Building and managing relationships with EYs Digital and Technology alliance partners and supporting collaborative go to market strategies
Identify and lead business development pursuits to drive growth in the Digital Health Practice. This includes utilisation of existing relationships/networks translating market need into key strategic drivers for growth.
Act as a visible ambassador for EY’s values and quality standards within the sector.
Provide technical leadership to on-, near- and off-shore technical teams, vendors and external partners to ensure the successful and compliant delivery of client engagements.
Business Development & Revenue Growth Own and grow a significant revenue portfolio, with accountability for pipeline generation, conversion, and multi‑year client relationships.
Lead development of major proposals and bids, including acting as Bid Lead for high‑value pursuits.
People Leadership & Culture Leadership responsibility to support the management, mentorship, professional development and growth of junior colleagues, developing key capabilities and Digital Healthcare domain expertise in line with the Healthcare Technology Strategy Champion diversity, inclusion, psychological safety, and wellbeing across project teams.
Skills and Attributes for success
Proven ability to lead and manage large scale, multi-year, high-impact digital health programmes.
Deep experience in technical roles at a consulting/professional services company, System Integrator or customer environment in Enterprise Proven client experience in leading delivering projects utilising both Waterfall and Agile…
