Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Linux Engineer to join our high profile client.

Our client is a well known quantitative proprietary trading firm, liquidity provider and market maker. They operate globally and are considered to be a market leader in their field. The members of this team are very talented Linux Engineers, Admins and Programmers, tasked with improving and building a best-in-class platform that powers the complex trading systems. The technology is a mixture of in-house and open-source allowing deep customisation and innovation on every level.

My client automates as much as they can because it reduces human error and the team holds the view that automating is also enjoyable and that should be how you also see it.

You will need:5 years of hands-on experience in Linux/Unix administration (RHEL/CentOS/OEL preferred).Strong verbal and written communication skills.
3+ years of experience of leading a technology team (preferably Infrastructure support / Sys Admin team)
Relentless dedication to customer service.

Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of the CI/CD pipeline tools and understanding of the concept

Working knowledge with TCP/IP, multicast, tcpdump, clocking (PTP, NTP).Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
