Cedar are supporting a leading consultancy on the search for a technically minded IT Audit / SOX Consultant to join a high-profile programme for an international client.

This is a hands-on delivery role where you'll be responsible for executing SOX 404 testing across IT General Controls (ITGCs), key reports and automated controls. We're looking for someone who enjoys getting into the detail, can quickly work through testing activities and has the technical capability to understand how automated controls and application logic operate.

• Deliver IT General Controls (ITGC) testing in support of SOX 404 compliance.
• Perform testing of key reports and automated controls used in financial reporting.
• Review application logic, system configurations and technical implementations to validate the effectiveness of automated controls.
• Identify issues within automated processes and work with technical teams to understand and assess control deficiencies.
• Gather, review and document audit evidence in line with SOX methodology.
• Produce high-quality work papers and communicate findings clearly to client stakeholders.
