The Information Management Lead - UK and Europe Hub is a senior leadership role within the Project Controls centre of excellence (CoE), accountable for leading the Information Management (IM) capability across the UK and Europe hub.

You'll Be Responsible For
  • Support the delivery of the Global Information Management strategy across the UK and Europe hub.
  • Act as the regional lead for Information Management, promoting consistent application of standards, processes and best practice.
  • Serve as the principal link between the Global Information Management Lead and UK and Europe project teams.
  • Collaborate with Project Controls, Digital, PMO and Project Management leadership teams to drive integrated delivery.
  • Maintain alignment of regional practices with the Mace Way, ISO 19650 requirements and client-specific Information Management obligations.
Collaboration with regional centres of excellence
  • Work closely with the Europe hub centre of excellence lead and business unit CoE to ensure Information Management standards, best practices and innovations are consistently embedded across markets, sectors and commissions.
  • Foster collaboration between Information Management, Project Controls and wider discipline communities to drive alignment, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the hub.
  • Support business unit CoEs in identifying Information Management challenges, lessons learned and opportunities for capability enhancement within their portfolios.
  • Act as a conduit between regional business needs and the Global Information Management function, ensuring local requirements, market insights and project feedback inform the ongoing development of the global Information Management framework.
  • Collaborate with the Europe hub CoE Lead and Business Unit CoEs to promote standardisation, improve delivery consistency and support the implementation of strategic initiatives across the UK and Europe hub.
Project assurance and technical support
  • Provide technical leadership and support to project and programme teams on Information Management matters.
  • Act as the regional escalation point for complex Information Management, document control, common data environment (CDE) and information governance issues.
  • Support projects in establishing effective Information Management and document control arrangements from mobilisation through to project completion.
  • Review and assure project Information Management plans, standards, workflows and procedures.
  • Undertake project health checks, maturity reviews and assurance activities to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support recovery activities and interventions where project Information Management performance is below expected standards.
Best practice and standards deployment
  • Deploy global Information Management standards, procedures, templates and guidance across the hub.
  • Promote consistency in digital delivery, information governance, metadata management, naming conventions and document control processes.
  • Monitor compliance with ISO 19650, client requirements and Mace Information Management standards.
  • Capture lessons learned and feedback from project teams to support continual improvement of the global Information Management framework.
  • Support the development and maintenance of Information Management knowledge resources and technical guidance documents.
Capability building and community development
  • Build and maintain a strong UK and Europe Information Management community.
  • Identify skills gaps and support the development of capability improvement plans.
  • Deliver training, coaching and mentoring for Information Management professionals and wider project teams.
  • Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions, communities of practice and lessons-learned forums.
  • Support professional development and accreditation of Information Management practitioners across the hub.
Digital delivery and innovation
  • Support adoption of emerging Information Management technologies, tools and digital delivery practices.
  • Work closely with the Global Information Management Lead and Digital Centre of Excellence to trial and implement innovation initiatives.
