OVERVIEW

Working within Revenue Protection, the Trading Investigator willbe responsible for analysing large and complex datasets to support intellectual property protection, revenue recovery, riskidentificationand commercial intelligence activities.

The role will focus onidentifyingtrends, anomalies, suspiciousactivityand commercial opportunities across Sportradar's products,service sand partner ecosystem. Combining advanced analytical techniques with investigative thinking, the analyst will produce actionable intelligence, support strategic investigations, and deliver insights that help protect and maximise the value of Sportradar's data,content and commercial rights.

The successful candidate willpossessstrong analytical capabilities, commercial awareness, and a naturally inquisitive mindset, enabling them to transform data into meaningful intelligence and business outcomes.

THE CHALLENGE

• Analyse large and complex datasets relating to customer activity, product usage, content consumption, distributionchannelsand commercial operations.
• Develop monitoring frameworks toidentifyunauthorised usage, revenue leakage, abuse, fraudindicatorsand emerging business risks.
• Conduct quantitative analysis toidentifytrends, anomalies and opportunities across products,service sand customer segments.
• Support investigations involving contractual non-compliance and other revenue-impacting activities.
• Identify relationships, patterns and connections across customers, users,partners and entities of interest.
• Produce analytical reports,visualisations and dashboards to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Develop automated processes to improve monitoring, intelligencecollectionand reporting capabilities.
• Partner with Intelligence Analysts, Investigators and Commercial stakeholders to support complex enquiries and investigations.
• Work closely with Data Science, Product and Engineering teams to develop scalable analytical solutions.
• Conduct behavioural, trend and network analysis toidentifyclusters,anomalies and indicators of misuse.
• Contribute to the development of new methodologies, tools and analytical capabilities that enhance Revenue Protection operations.

YOUR PROFILE

• 2+ years' experience in data analytics, business intelligence, fraud analytics, revenue assurance, investigations, compliance, riskmanagementor a related field.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Experience using Python, R or equivalent analytical tools for data investigation and analysis.
• Expertise in statistical analysis, data modelling and visualisation techniques.
• Experience transforming and analysing data from multiple sources and presenting insights through dashboards and visualisations using Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar business intelligence toolsto translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset,with the ability toidentifypatterns and root causesto translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Understanding of machine learning, anomaly detectionor behavioural modelling.
• Experience with graph analytics and network analysis techniques.
