Role Overview :

As an ICT Infrastructure Engineer (1st / 2nd Line Support) at Reply, you will be a key point of contact for IT support across our UK business, providing professional and reliable assistance to consultants, engineers, and project teams. Based in central London and supporting multiple UK offices, you will manage and secure internal infrastructure and endpoints across Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra  (Azure AD), and Windows/macOS environments.

Operating within a sensitive context that includes government and defence engagements, you will implement robust security practices and handle information in line with Government Security Classifications.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a primary 1st / 2nd line contact for internal IT support, managing incidents and service requests via phone, email, and the ITSM/ticketing tool.
  • Provide daily support for laptops, mobile devices, and productivity tools across Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, One Drive).
  • Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Intune and Entra  (Azure AD), including device enrolment, compliance policies, access management, and basic SSO/MFA issues.
  • Perform routine operational tasks such as password and MFA resets, account unlocks, OS patching, Bit Locker management, and endpoint policy troubleshooting.
  • Investigate endpoint security alerts and support remediation using Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and related security tools.
  • Create, maintain, and follow Knowledge Base articles, SOPs, and technical documentation to ensure consistent and high-quality support.
  • Liaise with third-party suppliers and vendors to support incident resolution, service enhancement, and infrastructure stability.
  • Provide occasional on-site support across Reply’s UK offices, ensuring secure and compliant handling of systems and data in line with Government Security Classifications and Cyber Essentials.
About the Candidate:
  • Educated to degree level (minimum 2.1) in Computing, IT, or a related discipline.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of Windows and macOS endpoints, Microsoft 365, and core infrastructure services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Windows Server).
  • Demonstrates a genuine interest in cybersecurity and best practices; familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Government Security Classifications, GDPR, and Cyber Essentials is an advantage.
  • Clear, professional communicator who can document processes and solutions in a structured, repeatable way.
  • Motivated to grow their skills through further certifications (e.g. MS-900, AZ-900, ITIL v4) and enhanced security clearances (e.g. DV) where required.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced consultancy environment, balancing day-to-day support with contributing to infrastructure improvements and project work.
  • Collaborative and service-oriented, able to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and work effectively with third parties.
  • Willing to travel to Reply’s UK offices when needed to provide on-site support.
