MUFG, a globally respected financial institution, is seeking a Vice President AI Engineering Team Lead to join their Corporate Technology division in London. This pivotal role offers you the opportunity to shape and scale an AI Engineering team within the Architecture, Middleware, Design (AMD) department, driving the adoption of advanced AI solutions across multiple business areas. As Vice President AI Engineering Team Lead at MUFG in London you will be entrusted with building a high-performing team dedicated to designing and supporting innovative AI solutions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve managing talented engineers while overseeing end-to-end delivery of generative AI models and machine learning applications tailored for diverse business needs. You will work collaboratively with digital transformation experts to translate complex requirements into actionable roadmaps that align with organisational goals.

By establishing rigorous engineering standards and quality controls you will ensure every solution meets regulatory expectations while delivering measurable value. Your role also includes evaluating new technologies for strategic fit; managing project life cycles from inception through release; providing multi-level technical support; defining success metrics; tracking outcomes; sharing knowledge across teams; and championing best practices throughout MUFG’s technology landscape.
