IT Field Engineer

Some IT support roles are all about tickets. This one is about people.

We're partnering with a growing technology consultancy looking for an IT Field Engineer to become the trusted face of IT for a portfolio of professional services clients. You'll spend four days a week onsite with clients (typically Z1) or at the Farringdon office, building relationships, solving technical challenges and helping organisations get the most from their technology.

This opportunity would suit an experienced 2nd Line Engineer, particularly from an MSP environment, who's ready to step into a more client-facing role. You'll be working across Microsoft 365, Windows environments, networking and cloud technologies, supporting users while becoming a genuine trusted advisor to your customers.

The business has built a strong reputation through referrals, invests heavily in training and development, and has a genuine culture of promoting from within. They're particularly interested in people who are committed to continuous learning. Microsoft certifications are highly valued, whether that's existing certifications or evidence that you're actively working towards them, and you'll be supported with ongoing training and funded exams.

You'll likely have:

• Experience in a 2nd Line Support, IT Support Engineer or MSP environment
• Strong Microsoft 365 and Windows troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
• Exposure to networking technologies and infrastructure support
• Microsoft certifications (or a genuine desire to achieve them)
