Senior/Lead Data Engineer (Python & SQL) - Fin Tech - New AI Platform

Our client, a Fin Tech Scale-Up, is building a brand-new AI-driven trading and market infrastructure platform and is hiring experienced Data Engineers to join a newly formed R&D engineering team in London.

This is a greenfield opportunity to help design and build scalable data platforms from the ground up, supporting real-time trading, analytics, AI/ML workloads and market data services.

We're looking for a Senior Data Engineer with particularly strong Python and SQL skills. Ideally, you'll have experience with Airflow, Snowflake and dbt and a strong Computer Science or similar technical background.

You'll have significant technical ownership from day one, working in a highly funded, fast-moving engineering environment with the stability, scale and resources of a major global financial institution behind you.
