What does it take to keep a trading platform bulletproof at scale?

My client - one of the world's leading quantitative trading firms - is hiring a Platform Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to design, build, and operate the infrastructure behind mission-critical trading systems. This is a role with real technical ownership, working on problems most engineers only read about.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable platform infrastructure
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery
• Strengthen observability through monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting
• Build automation and self-service tooling that engineers actually want to use
• Support containerized workloads and orchestration across large-scale environments
• Drive reliability, performance, and scalability improvements across distributed systems and middleware

• Experience as a Platform Engineer, SRE, or Dev Ops Engineer
• Strong Linux systems knowledge and automation experience
• Track record building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on with containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Solid grasp of monitoring, logging, and observability platforms
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and infra automation
• Genuine passion for building reliable, highly available platforms
