Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) Sports Europe represents WBDs portfolio of sports brands channels and platforms in Europe. It collectively engages 130 million people every month reaching fans and broad audiences in more than 200 markets and in 20 languages across all platforms where consumers are spending time: free-to-air TV pay-TV streaming online and social. WBD Sports Europe includes the much-loved consumer brands Eurosport and TNT Sports in the UK and Ireland as well sports programming and content on WBDs free-to-air TV networks and streaming on HBO Max.

Your New Role ...

As a Media Manageryouwillcoordinatethedeliveryofprogrammingfor transmission to the Playoutfacilityensuringmedia contentisprocessedaccuratelyefficientlyand onschedule. Workingacrossmultiple production supportfunctionsyouwillplayakeyroleinmaintainingsmoothbroadcastoperationsand contentavailability.

Ifyouhaveexperienceworkingwithmedia asset managementsystemsand broadcast workflowsweencourageyouto.

Your Role Accountabilities ...

• Prioritise contentdeliveryacross
  
  Production
  
  Ingest Edit VOD and Playoutteamsto supportoperationaldeadlines.

• Ensureingestrequirementsareaccurateandthatallcontentissuccessfullycaptured.

• Maintaintheaccuracyofnamingconventionsmetadataandmetadataapplicationacrosscontent workflows.

• CoordinateeffectivelywithMCR Engineering Production Edit Bookings Ingestand  Archiveteamsto support contentoperations.

• Manageincomingcontent issuesincludingescalationreportingandresolutionwhere.

• Overseearchive content restores andmanagetheday-to-dayfiledeliveryscheduleidentifyingpotentialdelaysandrisks.

• Performqualitycontrol checks for Playoutdelivery monitor MAM system performance support hardwaretrackingfor productions andactasakey contact for systemengineering issues.

Qualifications &Experience...

• Working knowledge of broadcast equipment fileformatsandtranscoding processes.

• Excellent understanding anddemonstrableexpertisein the use of EVS IPD MAMsystems.

• Knowledge and experience of cloud-based broadcast technologies

• Understanding offile formats audio track layouts metadatarequirementsand their application within production environments.

• Knowledge and enthusiasm for a broad range of sports within the Warner Bros. Discovery portfolio alongside an appreciation of media availability archivemanagementand production delivery timelines.

08:00 and
00:00 andisfullyoffice-basedin the Chiswickoffice.

Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to any applicable laws WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
