What you’ll ownThe Sr Manager, Sales Solution is responsible for leading a team of Solution Consultants and ensuring the delivery of best-in-class technical and operational solutions throughout the sales process. The role provides strategic oversight of pre-sales engagements, collaborating closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Legal and Partner teams, and serves as a trusted advisor to both customers and internal stakeholders.

Leadership & People Management Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Solution Consultants.

Drive operational change, continuous improvement, and best-practice across the Solutions Consulting organisation.

Pre-Sales Solution Leadership Oversee all technical pre-sales activities supporting complex commercial opportunities, product implementations, and solution deployments.

Ensure the development and presentation of compelling technical, financial, and operational solutions that address customer requirements and business objectives.

Support strategic deals and critical customer escalations where required.

Develop and oversee customer installation, implementation, and systems integration plans.

Customer & Strategic Engagement Build trusted relationships with customers, prospects, partners, and executive stakeholders.

Ensure proposed solutions are scalable, commercially viable, operationally sound, and aligned with customer objectives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Execution Drive cross-functional alignment and execution across Product, Engineering, Implementation, Solutions Consulting, Billing & Finance, Operations, Legal, Sales, Marketing, and Partner Management teams to deliver on committed customer and business outcomes.

Ensure effective collaboration between pre-sales, delivery, and support organisations to maximise customer success.

Solution Processes Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and technical capabilities within the Solutions Consulting function.

Champion innovation and continuous improvement to enhance customer outcomes and commercial performance.

What you’ll bring

Proven experience leading and coaching Solution Consultants, Sales Engineers, Solution Architects or similar technical presales teams

Extensive experience supporting complex enterprise sales opportunities

Ability to translate customer business requirements into technical solutions

Experience influencing and engaging with senior stakeholders across various functions

Demonstrated success transitioning pre-sales to implementation and support

Strong payments knowledge
