Role
We are assisting a client who require an experienced Cisco Network & Security Consultant to support a network and security infrastructure refresh, covering the deployment of Cisco Secure Firewall technology alongside a Cisco switching migration.
This role requires strong technical capability across both network security and enterprise networking, with particular emphasis on Cisco Secure Firewall and advanced BGP.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deployment of a new Cisco Secure Firewall Management Center (FMC) High Availability pair
• Deployment and configuration of HA pair Cisco Secure Firewalls
• Migration of existing legacy firewall configurations to the new environment
• Review and optimisation of migrated configurations in line with current Cisco and security best practices
• Configuration and migration of firewall policies, NAT, objects and routing
• Integration of the new firewall infrastructure with the existing network
