Data Centre Operations Manager / Data Centre Operations Lead, £55k - 65k

Bench IT requires an experienced Data Centre Manager, to manage the day-to-day running of a Data Centre environment. The Data Centre Manager will lead and develop a team, ensure services are delivered against SLAs, and apply ITIL best practice across service and change management. The role covers full project life cycle management, financial and operational reporting, and hands-on knowledge of Data Centre technologies and telecoms cabling infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading, managing, and developing a team within a Data Centre environment
• Ensuring service delivery meets contractual and SLA requirements
• Managing projects through the full life cycle
• Applying ITIL processes for service measurement and change management
• Producing financial and operational reports, including trend analysis
• Supporting telecommunications infrastructure cabling and Data Centre technologies
• Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and industry partners
• Maintaining high standards of governance within a regulated environment

Required Skills & Experience

• Demonstrable experience in staff leadership and people management
• Experience managing projects across the full life cycle
