200k Plus Bonus Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Quant Developer to join our high profile clients Crypto Infrastructure Team Our client is a well known global Global Prop Trading and Crypto firm. They value technology especially the opensource variety as well as scalability and robust performance (much like their track record). They also have a digital asset service operating in over 100 countries.

This is an environment of google or a startup where tech is number 1 the firm is known globally for its attitudes and rigour more importantly, you will be surrounded by smart people deeply interested in teaching what they know, and in learning from you.

The ideal engineer will have some hands-on software development experience with in-depth infrastructure experience, who can guide development and research teams to design, build, deploy and monitor a continuously evolving trading and research stack.

Day to day the Quant Developer will:

Shape the engineering efforts and technological choices of core trading systems that run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week Improve scalability, observability, and end-to-end performance of existing trading systems

Closely work with research and trading teams to increase productivity and turn-around speed from raw data to production trading

Manage and support trading system operations

Quant Developers should have:3 years experience in a Trading or Finance or High Demand environment

Java, Python, Java script, Netty, Aeron, SBE, Chronicle, Full Experience in infrastructure management with strong focus on AWS, networking (TCP/UDP/FIX/DNS/Web Socket, multicast) and mindset for solid security

Long-term Linux user with intimate knowledge of running servers and performance tuning

Experience with building event-driven systems using Netty, Aeron and SBEThe environment is that of Facebook or Google, relaxed open with time to think and make the right decisions. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed with an open dress code. The role is based in the office 5 days a week. Flex start times.
