Lead Cloud Specialist – Linux

Quant Capital has a fantastic opportunity for an AWS cloud specialist to join a leading cloud and managed services provider at their offices in London. This is a perfect opportunity to prove leadership skills and to grow with this market leading rapidly expanding company.

My client is looking for an experienced AWS specialist to lead a team of talented and driven people focusing on keeping my clients applications working smoothly and without fault 24/7. You will be given the task to scale up and improve my clients cloud services as well as providing 4th line support for customers.

As a Linux cloud specialist you will need the following:

Solid Linux experience Red hat/CentOS preferable (Windows knowledge is an added bonus)
Good scripting in Bash or Perl Monitoring tools

Configuration management and automation tools (Puppet, Chef)
Good AWS EC2 experience

Networking (TCP/IP)
Degree, preferable in a quantitative subject.

Clear written and verbal communications skills

Managerial skills a plus
