Media Platform Engineer

Our client is looking for a technically capable Media Platform Engineer to join their growing Content Management team in London.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a modern cloud-based Production Asset Management (PAM) platform, supporting media workflows from production through post-production while helping shape the future of a highly collaborative and technology-driven environment.

You'll work closely with production, editorial and post-production teams, maintaining and improving media workflows, developing Python-based integrations, optimising AWS cloud infrastructure, and providing technical support across the business.

Key responsibilities

Manage and optimise media workflows across the PAM environment

Maintain and develop Python-based workflow automation

Monitor cloud storage and compute performance within AWS Support media ingest, metadata management and cloud asset retrieval

Provide first-line technical support to internal stakeholders

Identify opportunities to improve workflows, automation and system performance

Help maintain secure, scalable and efficient media platforms

We're looking for someone with

Experience with in media asset management, production technology or similar environments

Python scripting knowledge

Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills

Experience with AWS or cloud technologies

Knowledge of media workflows, codecs and production environmentsA proactive, self-motivated approach and a desire to continuously improve systems
