As a Dev Ops Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools that ensure smooth deployment and operation of software systems. This role bridges the gap between development and operations, focusing on system automation, reliability, scalability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline development workflows.
- Automate provisioning and configuration of infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Cloud Formation.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance and reliability.
- Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless deployment of applications.
- Implement and maintain robust security practices, including vulnerability assessments and patching.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for systems and processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a Dev Ops, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix system administration.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Ruby.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Experience with logging and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Knowledge of database management and optimization (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proactive mindset with attention to detail.
