Trainee IT Security Support Analyst

IT Security Support Analyst Entry Level 6 Month Contract Hybrid Working - 2/3 Days from Home Pimlico Banks are recruiting an IT Security Support Analyst to join the IT Security team of an established organisation in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their IT career who is looking to gain commercial experience within IT Security.

We're particularly interested in recent Cyber Security, Computer Science or IT graduates, people with some early Service Desk/IT Support experience, or those who have developed their technical knowledge through self-study and personal projects. Previous commercial IT Security experience isn't required. You'll be working within the Identity & Access Management (IAM) function, helping to manage user accounts, system access and permissions across the organisation.

The role will involve:
Creating and maintaining user accounts Processing requests for system access and permissions Managing user groups and access levels Working with Active Directory and Google Identity Processing requests through an IT ticketing system Maintaining accurate records and documentation Resolving straightforward account and access issues Supporting the wider IT Security team We're looking for: A genuine interest in IT and Cyber Security Good general IT knowledge An IT, Cyber Security or Computer Science degree would be useful, but isn't essential Strong attention to detail Good problem-solving skills Confidence learning new systems and technologies Good communication skills Someone bright, reliable and keen to learn Previous exposure to Service Desk, IT Support, Active Directory, user administration or IAM would be useful, but isn't essential.
