Data Consultant

Data Consultant London | £300 Outside IR35 This is a hands-on Data Consultant contract focused on reporting, analytics, and client-facing insight delivery. You'll take ownership of reporting and analysis for a key client while supporting a wider portfolio of projects, combining technical data skills with stakeholder engagement to drive better business decisions. Working across a diverse client base, they combine strategic thinking with technical expertise to deliver actionable insights and measurement solutions. Their consultants work closely with clients to solve business challenges through data, reporting, and analytics.

The Role and Deliverables Build, maintain, and optimise reporting dashboards in Looker Studio. Act as the day-to-day reporting and analytics contact for a key client engagement. Analyse paid media, website, and campaign performance data to identify trends and deliver actionable insights. Clean, transform, and analyse customer data, including CRM datasets where applicable. Use Python and SQL to interrogate large datasets and support analytical projects.

Present findings to stakeholders, communicating technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences. Your Skills & Experience Strong experience building and maintaining dashboards in Looker Studio. Proven ability to interpret paid media, marketing, website, and campaign performance data. Practical experience using Python and SQL for data analysis and insight generation. Experience cleaning, validating, and analysing customer data to support business decisions (CRM).

Strong communication skills with experience presenting insights to clients and stakeholders. Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities across multiple projects Nice to have

Experience with GA4 and/or Google Tag Manager is advantageous. Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools is beneficial. Exposure to the education sector or similar environments would be an advantage.
